Share Your ForesightWorks Story

Tell us how you’ve used ForesightWorks to guide decisions, influence teams, or shape strategy in your work.

Why Share Your Story?

Your story helps the association community see foresight in action. By sharing, you can:

  • Show applied foresight—how ForesightWorks guided a decision, team, or strategy
  • Inspire peers with practical examples and lessons learned
  • Contribute to ASAE resources that highlight real-world impact

Even a short written story or quick video gives others a window into how foresight can make a difference in association work

How to Share Your Story

Share your ForesightWorks story in a few short paragraphs. No polish is needed—just your honest experience. Submissions take about 5–10 minutes. We may follow up to clarify or learn more. Not every story will be featured, but every submission helps us understand how ForesightWorks is being used.

Choose the method that works best for you:

Write a Short Story (via an online form)

Use our online submission form to share your experience in a few paragraphs. The form asks three simple questions:

  1. The Moment: Tell us about a specific situation where you used ForesightWorks. What were you trying to figure out or decide?
  2. The Shift: What changed because of it—in your thinking, your team’s direction, or a decision that was made? Did it spark a new idea, influence a decision, or change how people saw something?
  3. The Proof: If you were explaining ForesightWorks to someone else, what would you say and who are you picturing?
  4. Anything Else? Examples might include measurable results, unexpected outcomes, or lessons learned.

Estimated time: 5–10 minutes

Record a Short Video (via online link)

Record a 60–90 second video sharing your story. Speak naturally—no script or polish needed.

Focus on:

  • The Moment: Tell us about a specific situation where you used ForesightWorks. What were you trying to figure out or decide?
  • The Shift: What changed because of it—in your thinking, your team’s direction, or a decision that was made? Did it spark a new idea, influence a decision, or change how people saw something?
  • The Proof: If you were explaining ForesightWorks to someone else, what would you say and who are you picturing?
  • Anything Else? Examples might include measurable results, unexpected outcomes, or lessons learned.
