My time as an association executive was preceded by stints in higher education. As a young professional, I worked for two student affairs giants, Dr. Margaret Barr and Dr. Jon Dalton. They instilled in me the importance of contributing to the profession through publications and presentations.
Throughout my career, ASAE & the Center provided me innumerable opportunities to do exactly that, as well as engage in an array of meaningful volunteer experiences that have made me a better professional and a better person. It is only just to financially support pathways for others to have the same opportunities.
