Sports & Wellness

ASAE Foundation sports and wellness events enable association executives, industry partners, sponsors, and other association community members to network, have fun, and support the work of the foundation.

Executive Golf Series

The ASAE Foundation’s Executive Golf Series gives leaders in the association community a premier networking experience in the luxury of championship courses and their facilities. The series is a major fundraiser for the ASAE Foundation’s research, innovation, and leadership initiatives.

Foundation Bike Ride

Since 2014, ASAE staff, board members, and supporters have pedaled thousands of miles to raise money for the ASAE Foundation’s research efforts, supported by donor pledges. In past years, riders participated in the Back Roads Century in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. On October 14, 2017, we will be a part of the Sea Gull Century in Salisbury, Maryland. Riders can participate in one of three flat courses—two 100 miles and one 65 miles. Riders who can’t join us in Maryland on October 14 can ride in support of the ASAE Foundation in their local area.

Supporters can purchase the event jersey for themselves or their favorite cyclist and, while opportunities last, purchase logo space on the jersey.

To register, sign up on the Sea Gull Century website, and then let us know you’ll be attending at foundationevents@asaecenter.org.

Practice Rides: It always helps to do a couple of practice rides to get ready for the ASAE Foundation Bike Ride. If you are interested in participating in a practice ride, please contact Al Rickard, CAE, at 703-402-9713 or arickard@assocvision.com.
