About
This project aims to enhance the effectiveness and impact of associations by reestablishing best practices that enable them to operate more efficiently and effectively. Through thought leader gatherings and in-depth case studies, association leaders collaborate to generate new insights and strategies. These efforts focus on implementing an updated and modernized version of the 7 Measures of Success framework and building resilience for the future.
Initiatives
A priority in the research was to involve a variety of association professionals and industry partners to gain diverse insights.
The following events have been employed in the project so far:
- WorldCafés: Two WorldCafé sessions were hosted where participants discussed the seven measures, high-performance criteria, and areas for improvement. A skilled facilitator guided the conversations, ensuring all voices were heard and key points recorded. Download the WorldCafé whitepapers.
- Town Halls: Larger, more formal virtual town hall meetings were conducted where participants presented their findings from the WorldCafés and engaged in broader discussions. These sessions encouraged interaction through Q&A and open dialogue, refining and expanding on ideas generated in the WorldCafés.
The next steps are to analyze insights and feedback from previous steps. This involves revisiting and refining the framework to better align with the current environment. By incorporating lessons learned and stakeholder input, this ensures the measures of success are relevant, comprehensive, and actionable.
