ForesightWorks Analysis Sessions

About the Analysis Sessions

An analysis session brings together a group of association professionals to examine and interpret content related to the drivers of change. These sessions are conducted to update or introduce Driver of Change action briefs, focusing specifically on developing the 'Take Action' section on the fourth page. Each action brief involves two analysis sessions to gather diverse insights and perspectives. Currently, 16 sessions are held throughout the year. The primary goal is to identify key insights that inform decision-making and strategic planning for association professionals.

Key Components of an Analysis Session

  • Preparation: Participants receive relevant materials in advance to review and prepare for the discussion.
  • Facilitation: A facilitator guides the session, ensuring that the discussion stays focused and productive.
  • Content Review: Participants collectively examine the document, sharing observations and asking questions.
  • Discussion: The group engages in a 75-minutes structured conversation to identify opportunities and challenges, discuss implications, and consider different perspectives.
  • Outcome: The facilitator synthesizes the conversations to develop recommendations for further action.
