Legacy Society
Legacy Society is a community of ASAE Research Foundation donors who have committed to supporting the association community in their long-term plans through a planned gift pledge of at least $15,000. Each donor designates where they entrust their planned commitment within the ASAE Research Foundation aligning to the key verticals of its mission, research, scholarships and grants, and gain greater access to advancing the future of the association industry.
The ASAE Research Foundation has elevated the long-standing Legacy Society giving circle with a revised planned giving program that is more expansive and impactful, providing donors with a new approach to leaving a lasting and personal legacy in the association industry. Donors will be provided with a suite of planned giving options, allowing them to customize their legacy giving to best suit their lifestyle and continue to help those within our industry for years to come.
Legacy Society will provide donors with recognition & benefits based on a threshold pledge of $15,000. As a Legacy Society Donor, you will receive the following annual benefits:
- Invitation to pinning ceremony of new Legacy Society donors
- Donor Sspotlight in quarterly e-newsletter
- Recognition on ASAE Research Foundation virtual donor wall.
- Opportunity to participate in a Legacy Society Town Hall with ASAE Research Foundation leadership for a strategic update on the Foundation.
- recognition as a Legacy Society donor at the ASAE’s Annual Meeting.
- Complimentary invitation to attend VIP Q&A with Keynote at ASAE's Annual Meeting.
- Complimentary ticket to ASAE Research Foundation’s VIP Classic.
Donors will have the following options to choose from to leave their Legacy:
- Traditional: submitting a bequest through your will
- Insurance: submitting a beneficiary update form with a permanent policy (Life insurance or annuity)
- Asset-based beneficiary update form: cash, savings, retirement accounts (Payable on Death/POD, Transfer of Death/TOD)
- Strategic Planning: CRATs CRUTs, Trusts & Estate Planning
Estate Acceleration: including an allocation within the trust of a percentage of estate capital
